Collaboration isn’t just emails and files. It’s a conversation.
Every project carries a voice, a context, and a set of expectations looking for someone who will really listen. My role is to stand between idea and image, to understand what the architecture wants to say and what the client needs to feel. Bio and contact are simply the formal door into that dialogue.
If you are looking for images, we start with questions. If you are looking for a partner, we start with a conversation. Somewhere between those two, the work begins.
M-Viz
M-Viz is a personal studio for architectural visualization, based in Cologne and shaped by a multicultural path through design, teaching, and practice. The work is calm, precise, and atmospheric: from first concept sketches to competition entries, cultural projects, and refined marketing material.
Each project is treated as a visual narrative, where composition, light, and context work together to let the architecture speak in its own tone and help others understand its value.
What does "Viz" mean?
Originally, "viz." was a small Latin shorthand meaning "you may see clearly what I mean."
At M-Viz, it has become personal: the moment when a drawing, a model, or an idea turns into an image that others can finally read, feel, and trust. It is less about effects and more about making intent visible.
About me
I did not come to visualization as a shortcut, but as a necessity.
As an architecture student and young architect, I was always the one who stayed a bit longer to adjust the camera, move the sun a few degrees, or test one more mood. Plans could explain the logic of a project, but images could reveal how it might actually feel to stand there.
My journey has taken me from early years in architectural practice and visualization to completing a Master’s in Environmental Architecture in Germany and collaborating on competitions, cultural projects and real estate developments. Over the years I moved between design, teaching and visualization. In studios, design schools and offices, people kept handing me the design and “visual” part of the work. Later I realised it was not to push me aside, but because they saw how naturally I read light, space and atmosphere. That repetition became a mirror, showing me where my real strength was and slowly pointing towards what would later become M-Viz.
Today I work from Cologne, balancing two worlds I care about equally: careful, architecturally grounded visualization and new, AI assisted ways of thinking visually. Some days are about a single, quiet exterior at blue hour. Others are about training teams, building workflows and showing how AI, real-time tools and classical craft can live together in one process. What does not change is the aim: to give each project an honest visual voice and to make complex ideas feel clear, calm and human.
If your project is still only a feeling, a sketch, or a loose idea, that is often the best moment to talk. Send a short message, a plan, or a reference. I will look at it personally and help shape the images that let your architecture be seen, understood, and trusted.
